Pretty Pink Posh March Release & Blog Hop with GIVEAWAY: Easter Cupcakes

Hello, Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be Guest Designing for Pretty Pink Posh to showcase some exciting new products from the March Release. I am thrilled to also be a part of the 3 day BLOG HOP & GIVEAWAY (details below) to celebrate these new Easter and Spring themed stamps, dies, stencils and embellishments. This amazing release is absolutely adorable and now available for shopping.

Easter is just around the corner and I have a couple of cards and tags featuring the Easter Cupcakes and beautiful Eyelet Circles dies to share with you to get you into the mood. So let's get started.

For my first card, I have a slimline Easter card (3.5" x 8.5"). I stamped the images from the Easter Cupcakes Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I used the coordinating Easter Cupcakes Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

COPIC COLORS
Chick: Y11/13/15, RV10, Y38
Bunny: C00/0/1, RV000/10, RV10
Sheep: C00/0/1, E000/00/21, RV10
Blue: B0000/000/00/02/05
Green: YG01/03
Pink: RV000/10
Purple: V01/12/15
Orange: Y38 YR04/07
Yellow: Y11/13

The second smallest die from the gorgeous Eyelet Circles Dies set to diecut 3 circles out of pink cardstock.

I took a piece of white cardstock (3.25" x 8.25") and roughly laid out my eyelet circles to decide where to place my sentiment.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Easter from the Easter Train Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of anti-static treated black cardstock. I added white embossing powder before heat setting the embossing. The sentiment was then trimmed out with the dies from the Easter Train Coordinating Dies.

For the "Hoppy" subsentiment, I used a piece of tape to mask off and partially stamp of one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Easter Stamp set directly onto the slimline panel.

I adhered the eyelet circles to the panel with liquid adhesive. The colored images and Easter sentiment were adhered to the panel with some foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

I adhered the panel to a piece of pink cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase (3.5" x 8.5").

For my second card, I made another card featuring these adorable Easter Cupcakes. I love that there is a variety of cupcake designs in this set. The 3 cupcake images that I used on my first card was distinctly Easter themed. However, the other 3 cupcake images in this set are more neutral and can be used for a variety of occasions such as Spring, Birthday, and Thinking of You cards.

I stamped and colored the cupcakes in the same manner as the first card. I also diecut an eyelet circle out of pink cardstock .

For the background, I used the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangle Dies to diecut a white scalloped panel. I used tape to mask off the eyelet edges beyond the faux stitched line. I used the new Easter Words Stencil and some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink to ink blend a bit of interest to the background.

Once the ink was dried, I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel before adhering it to a piece of pink cardstock and a white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").

Finally, I adhered the cupcake image to the pink eyelet circle and then to the front of the panel with some foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

With the 2 last colored cupcake images, I decided to create some super easy tags. I stamped and colored the cupcakes in the same manner as the first card.

I used the second and third smallest dies from the set of Eyelet Circle Dies to diecut white and pink eyelet circles for each of the tags. I adhered the white and pink circles to each other with liquid adhesive. The cupcake was adhered with some foam tape.

Finally, I laced some white twine from my stash through one of the holes from the eyelet edge.
