Pretty Pink Posh March Release & INSTAGRAM HOP with GIVEAWAY: Big Easter Cupcake & Bunny Face Dies

Hello, Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be back Guest Designing for Pretty Pink Posh to showcase more products from the recent Spring Release. Today I am hopping along on the INSTAGRAM HOP & GIVEAWAY (details below) to celebrate these new Easter and Spring themed stamps, dies, stencils and embellishments. I am having so much fun playing with all of the fun products from this amazing release.

The Big Easter Cupcake Die and the Bunny Face Shaker Die are just perfect for making some Easter and Spring cards. The new Spring Script Die and the Sentiment Strips: Easter Stamp Set made adding sentiments to these cards super easy.

I wanted the bunny theme but couldn't decide which end of the bunny was cuter ... so I made one of each to share with you today. Which one is your favorite? The bunny head or butt?

For my first card, I thought that it would be fun to have this super cute bunny head from the Bunny Face Shaker Die on top of a cupcake. I used the Bunny Face Shaker Die to diecut all of the parts of the head. The Big Easter Cupcake Die was used to diecut all of the cupcake, flower and Easter eggs. I also partially diecut some circles from the flower stem die out of pink cardstock to use as blush for the bunny head.

I added some simple Copic coloring and highlighting with a white gel pen to add some dimensions to the diecuts.

For the background, I diecut a scallop panel with the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangles Dies set. I adhered this to a white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I assembled the diecuts and adhered them to the scallop panel with a mixture of liquid adhesive and foam tape for some dimension and interest.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Easter stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock. I trimmed out the sentiment and a matching yellow strip to mat with a paper trimmer. I adhered the sentiment strip to the front of the cupcake with some foam tape.

My second card was created in the same manner. I thought that it would be fun to have this super cute bunny diving head first into a basket full of carrots. The Big Easter Cupcake Die was used to diecut the bunny, cupcake liner, flowers, carrots and and sign.

I added some simple Copic coloring and highlighting with a white gel pen to add some dimensions to the diecuts.

I diecut another scallop panel with the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangles Die set. I adhered this to a white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I assembled the diecuts and adhered them to the scallop panel with a mixture of liquid adhesive and foam tape for some dimension and interest.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Easter Stamp set onto a piece of yellow cardstock. I trimmed out the sentiment with a paper trimmer. I used the Spring Script Die to diecut the word Spring out twice: once with white cardstock and once with craft foam. I layered and adhered them together with liquid adhsesive. I adhered the sentiment strip to the front of the cupcake with some foam tape and the word Spring with some liquid adhesive.
