Hello Crafty Friends! The Simon Says Stamp Sweet Wishes Release is here! π I am so excited to be participating in this amazing release!
Today I have three cards to share with you showcasing the new Artsy Florals set. This set is packed with an array of modern blooms and several perfectly matched sentiments. I completely fell in love with one of the largest bloom. I used the one stamp in three different ways for my cards today. So let's get started.
For my first card, I stepped out of my comfort zone and used a no-line coloring technique. I stamped the images from the Artsy Florals Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Inkon3 Fadeout No Line Coloring Detail ink. I colored them with Copic markers.
COPIC COLORS:
Yellow: Y11/13/15 YR24
Brown: YR24/27 E99
Green: YG00/01/03/17
Dots: YG03
I trimmed the panel with the largest die from the MFT A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX set 2 Die-namics. I diecut a tag with the second smallest tag from the MFT Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics. I stamped the Thanks from the same stamp set with Tsukineko Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto the tag.
I secured the tag and wrapped the panel with twine. I adhered a piece of craft foam behind the panel before adhering the panel to a top folding white card base (4.25" x 5.5").
My second card is a super clean and simple thank you card. I stamped the same bloom from the Artsy Florals Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers and fussy cut the image out.
COPIC COLORS:
Pink: RV10/21/23/25
Brown: E23/25/27
For the sentiment, I couldn't think of a more appropriate thank you die for this CAS design than this CZ Design Thanks die that was so beautifully designed by Cathy Zeilske. I diecut the word and the shadow out of teal and white cardstock. I layered and adhered the word to its shadow.
I kept my card design nice and simple with a piece of teal cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). Next I got a slightly smaller piece of white cardstock. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the white panel before adhering it to the teal panel.
I adhered the flower and sentiment with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a top folding white cardbase. I finished the card with a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
From My Heart to Your Hands! My last card was created in a similar manner to the second one. I stamped, colored and fussy cut the images.
COPIC COLORS:
Yellow: Y11/13/15/17
Pink: RV10/21/23/25
Brown: E23/25/27
Green: YG00/01/03/17
I took a piece of green cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). Next I got a slightly smaller piece of white cardstock. I stamped one of the beautiful sentiments from the set directly onto the white panel with Tsukineko Versafine Onyx Black ink. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the white panel before adhering it to the green panel.
I adhered the yellow flower and greens directly onto the panel with liquid adhesive. I pop the pink bloom up with some foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a top folding white cardbase.
