Hello Crafty Friends! I’m on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today sharing a fun slimline Christmas card featuring the adorable Merry Mocha set.
I stamped the mug from the Merry Mocha Stamps set four times onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Merry Mocha Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Whipped Cream: E40/81
Candy Cane: R24/29, C1/3
Holly: R24/29, YG03/17
Red Mug: R24/27/29
Green Mug: YG03/25/17
Pink Mug: RV00/02/55
Teal Mug: BG11/13/15
I used the smallest die from the Scalloped Square 1 Large Dies to diecut 5 squares out of white cardstock. I adhered each of the mugs onto the squares. I stamped the cute sentiment from the set directly onto the fifth square with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I adhered the squares to a piece of pink cardstock (4" x 8.5") with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white card base. I finished the card with some snowflakes diecut from white cardstock using the Basic Mini Shape Dies 2. I also added some coordinating jewels from the Bright Jewel Mix to the center of each of the snowflakes.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Be sure to check out the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop for more info and ideas. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
