Hello, Crafty Friends! I have a sweet postcard style Christmas card featuring Purple Onion Designs Happy Mail from the Tofu & Friends Season's Greetings Collection, beautifully illustrated by Chilliezgraphy by Pei, to share with you today. I love that this image is versatile enough to be used for more than just a holiday card.
I stamped the Happy Mail images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock (4" x 5.25") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I fussy cut out the image.
COPIC COLORS:
Bear: E50/51/53/33/99, R000/30
Penguins: T3/5/7, W00/1, Y38
Red: R24/27/29/39
Pink: RV10/21/23/25
Silver: C1
Black: W5/7
I took another piece of Neenah cardstock and lightly ink blended the edges with a combo of Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks. Once the ink was dry, I stamped sentiments and postcard images from the Love Sentiment Set, Vintage PostCARD Set, Vintage Postcard Set Add-On with Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black and Versafine Satin Red inks.
I adhered the colored images onto the inked panel before adhering the panel to a white cardbase (4.25” x 5.5”).
