Hello Crafty Friends! The Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release is here! 🎉 I am so excited to be participating in this amazing release and Blog Hop Day 2! Be sure to check out the entire new Rain or Shine Release and Blog Hop Day 1 for more inspirations.
I just adore the amazing new Ear-Resistably Cute set from the release. I had so much fun playing with it that I made 3 more cards to share with you today. So let's get started.
Happy Easter! My first card is an almost one-layer card featuring all of the cute bunnies from this fun stamp set. Aren't they just the cutest?! With the exception of the sentiment, which I popped up with foam tape, the colored panel is one layer.
I stamped the images from the Ear-Resistably Cute Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock (5.25" x 5.25") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Bunnies: E50/51/52/33, R00/30
Pink: RV10/13/14
Blue: B000/00/02
Flowers: Y06/08, RV13, YG03
For the sentiment, I stamped the Happy Easter from the set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of pink cardstock. I fussy cut the sentiment and highlighted with a white gel pen.
I adhered it to the panel using foam tape to add some dimension and interest.
I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel before adhering it to a slightly larger piece of pink cardstock. The panel was then adhered to a white cardbase (5.5" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few confetti sequins for a bit of color and sparkle.
Love You more than chocolate! I must have been hungry or craving chocolate when I first opened up this stamp set. HA!HA!HA! I couldn't help but see that artist line across the bunny head as the ending to the chocolate dipped bunny ears. The bunny is now ear-resitably cute and yummy! I kept this second card clean and simple to give all of the attention to that cute bunny.
I stamped the bunny from the Ear-Resistably Cute Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Bunnies: E50/51/52/33, R00/30
Pink: RV10/13/14
Chocolate: E31/33/35/37/39/29
For the sentiment, I stamped the "love you" sentiment from the Sweet Treats Stamp set with Versafine Sepia ink and the sub sentiment "more than chocolate" with Versafine Onyx Black ink directly onto the panel. I highlighted with a white gel pen.
I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel before adhering it to a piece of pink cardstock then to an A2 white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few sparkling clear confetti sequins for a bit of sparkle.
Some Bunny Loves You! I kept my last card clean and simple also to give all of the attention to these adorable bunnies and that beautiful sentiment. I just love that mixture of fonts!
I stamped the bunnies from the Ear-Resistably Cute Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen. I fussy cut out the images.
COPIC COLORS:
Bunnies: C00/0/1/3, R00/20
Pink: RV10/13/14
I stamped one of the sentiments and some hearts from the set with Versafine Onyx Black and Satin Red inks directly onto a piece of pink cardstock (4" x 5.25"). I highlighted with a white gel pen. I adhered the bunnies with foam tape.
Once again, I adhered a piece of craft foam to the back of the panel before adhering it to an A2 white cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few sparkling clear confetti sequins for a bit of sparkle.
