Hello Crafty Friends! The Simon Says Stamp Rain or Shine Release is here! 🎉 I am so excited to be participating in this amazing release! Be sure to check out the entire new Rain or Shine Release for more inspirations.
I just adore the amazing new Ear-Resistably Cute set from the release. It's a large set with a variety of adorable images and matching sentiments. I made a variety of birthday, just because and Easter cards with this set and will share them with you over the next few days.
For today, I have a fun shaker birthday card to share with you showcasing one of the sweet bunnies, the fun carrot and a punny sentiment from the set.
For the carrot wreath design, I used the Gina K Designs Wreath Builder Template to repeatedly stamp the carrot image from the Ear-Resistably Cute Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock (4" x 5.25") with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set beneath my wreath. I also stamped one the bunny images from the set onto a separate piece of Neenah cardstock. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Bunny: C00/0/1/3, R00/20
Bow: Y17/38 YR04/07
Flowers: RV10/13, YG03
Carrots: Y17/38 YR04/07, YG01/03/17
For my shaker design, I used a 2.5" circle die to diecut a window into the center of my carrot wreath. I adhered a piece of clear acetate to the backside of the panel. Foam tape was adhered to the back of the panel to create a shaker well which I filled with some Sparkling Clear sequins before closing it off with a piece of pink cardstock.
I adhered this shaker to a piece of patterned paper from my stash before adhering it to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, I adhered the bunny to the center of my shaker.
