Simon Says Stamp: You Are My Favorite Release

Hello Crafty Friends! The Simon Says Stamp You Are My Favorite Release is here! 🎉 I am so excited to be participating in this amazing release! Be sure to check out the entire new You Are My Favorite Release for more inspirations.

I just adore the amazing new I Love You a Bunch set from this release. It is beautifully illustrated by the incredibly talented Jenny @jenoblade_. I had so much fun playing with this set that I made four cards to share with you today. Yes, one stamp set used in 4 different ways. So let's get started.

Happy Mother's Day! For my first card, I have a postage stamp style Mother's Day card to share with you showcasing the new I Love You a Bunch set.

I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Cover Die to diecut a panel out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Stencil to mask off the edges. I stamped images from the I Love You a Bunch stamp set with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Brown Bunnies: E50/51/53/33/35, R000/20
Gray Bunnies: C00/0/1/3, R000/20
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14
Yellow: Y11/13/15/19
Green: YG01/03/17
Sky: B0000/000

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I fussy cut the sentiment out.

I adhered the sentiment to the postage panel and the postage panel to a piece of pink cardstock with foam tape. I adhered the panel to a top folding A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.

You Are Wonderful! For my second card, I created another postage stamp style card using the same I Love You a Bunch set. This time, I was inspired by the sheets or books of postage stamps that you can buy at the post office. I used the tulip image from the set to create 4 different color schemes.

Just as with the first card, I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Cover Die to diecut a panel out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Stencil to mask off the edges. I stamped the same flower image from the I Love You a Bunch stamp set with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink in each one of the stamp openings. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen. I used the "50 cents" stamp value from the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Stamp set to stamp the 50 cents into the upper right corner of each of the stamp for a more realistic look.

COPIC COLORS:
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14
Orange: Y17/38 YR04/07
Yellow: Y11/13/15/19
Purple: V01/12/15/17
Green: YG01/03/17
Backgrounds: RV0000/000/10, R0000 YR00 Y17, Y00000/000/11/13, V0000/000/01

For the sentiment, I stamped, heat embossed and fussy cut out one of the sentiments from the set just like I did with the first card.

I adhered the sentiment to the postage panel and the postage panel to a piece of black cardstock with foam tape. I adhered the panel to a top folding A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I Love You a Bunch! I kept my third card design clean and simple to give all of the attention to my favorite image of this I Love You a Bunch set. This was the perfect balance between cute bunny and beautiful tulips.

I stamped the image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers, highlighted with a white gel pen and fussy cut the image out.

COPIC COLORS:
Bunny: C00/0/1/3, R000/20
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14
Green: YG01/03/17

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used a sentiment strip die from my crafty stash to diecut the sentiment.

For the background, I took a piece of pink cardstock (3.75" x 5") and diecut a window using a 2.25" circle die. I adhered the pink panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5") with some foam tape.

I adhered my colored image and sentiment strip with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. I finished the card with a few PPP Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.

With Love! My last card is another clean and simple one to show off the sweet faces of these adorable bunnies of this I Love You a Bunch set.

Blue: B0000/000/00/02

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock, masked off the bottom half and lightly ink blended with Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks. I added a few dots with a Copic marker (RV21) and a white gel pen.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered the center bunny directly onto the panel with liquid adhesive and adhered the side bunnies with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
