Pink & Main May Release & GIVEAWAY

Hello Crafty Friends! Bugs and berries are the central theme of Pink & Main's May Release - and boy is it CUTE!

There are ladybugs galore, and the freshest strawberries to kick off your summer crafting. With this release they've added another interactive die set to the line - the Berry Pop Up Card Dies create a darling little basket of strawberries. They've also added new Spring and Summer Home Add Ons to our Home Sweet Home house die set, with the cutest bunting to make July 4th cards & projects.

And of course there's the monthly mouse - for May, he's got a birdhouse and a few feathered friends! The release is full of fantastic new stamps, dies, embossing folders, CheerFoil, Foilables, patterned paper, and embellishments!

I had so much fun playing with this Release and have 4 projects to share with you today. So let's get started.

Wishing You a Sweet Birthday! My first card features the amazing Berry Pop-up Card Dies. What a fun surprise for the recipient to receive this 3-D pop-up card to celebrate their birthday.

The dies are super easy to use and assemble. I diecut all of the elements out of white and colored cardstock. I assembled and adhered the parts and highlighted with a white gel pen.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Berry Happy Stamp set directly onto the tag diecut with a red ink. I attached the tag to the basket and added a little bow made out of twine.

I love that this fun pop-up card design folds flat and fits in a standard A2 sized envelope for easy mailing.

Congratulations! For my second card, I created Happy New Home card featuring the new Spring and Summer Home Add On Dies and the original Home Sweet Home Dies. These fun new elements can be used to create all sorts of home themed cards. There's even a cute little bunting die that can be used for a 4th of July card.

I diecut all of the elements out of white, colored and gold cardstock. I assembled and adhered the parts and highlighted with a white gel pen.

I wanted to keep the background clean and simple to save all of the attention for the super cool house. I took a piece of white cardstock (4" x 5.25") and lightly ink blended the very bottom with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. The house and mailbox were adhered directly onto the panel. I added a piece of craft foam to backside of the front part of the house to make it appear as it jetted out a bit.

For the sentiment, I stamped the Congratulations from the Good Guys Stamps set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of red cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used one of the sentiment strip dies from the Large Sentiment Strip Dies to diecut it out. The strip was adhered to the panel with foam tape.

The front panel was adhered to a piece of red cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 cardbase.

I Love You Berry Much! My third card is a sweet card showcasing the new Bugs & Berries set. This adorable set has a large collection of strawberries, leaves and ladybugs. Isn't that ladybug just the sweetest thing?

I stamped the images from the Bugs & Berries Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Bugs & Berries Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Ladybugs: E000/00/21/11/93, T1/3/5, R05/24/29
Strawberries: R05/24/29, YG03/25/17
Basket: B0000 BG01/45/49
Flower: Y00/06/08, C0

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Berry Happy Stamp set directly onto the tag diecut with teal cardstock using one of the dies from the Berry Pop Up Card Dies with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (3.75" x 4.75"). I attached the tag to the panel with twine. I added craft foam to the backside before adhering to a piece of patterned paper from the new Bugs and Berries Paper Pack. The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase. I adhered all of the colored images with a combo of liquid adhesive and foam tape.

Showering You with Love! My last card features the new Showering You set. This sweet set has three beautiful main images: a water can, a pair of rainboots and this umbrella. All three images are overflowing with pretty flowers.

I stamped the images from the Showering You Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Showering You Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Umbrella: B0000 BG01/45/49, C1
Flowers: RV10/21/13/14, Y13, Y11/13/15, RV14, YG03/17

I took a piece of teal cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"), placed it into the Pocket Full of Posies 6 x 6 Embossing Folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. I took a piece of white cardstock and trimmed it with the second largest die from the Stitched Rectangle set 2 DiesI added craft foam to the backside of the white panel before adhering to the teal panel. The panels were adhered to a white A2 cardbase. I adhered all of the colored images with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used one of the sentiment strip dies from the Sentiment Strip Dies to diecut it out. The strip was adhered to the panel with foam tape.

I finished the card with a few of sticky gems from the new The Neutrals Sticky Gems.
