Pretty Pink Posh June Release

Hello, Crafty Friends! The Pretty Pink Posh June Release is here and I am so excited to be Guest Designing to showcase some exciting new products. This amazing release is filled with Summer and beach themed stamps, dies, stencils and embellishments.

I had so much fun playing with this Release that I made several cards to share with you today. So let's get started.

Wish You Were Here! My first card features the sweet new Beach Fun set. This fun set has a variety of super cute images that are perfect for a day at the beach. I paired them up with the new Summer Words Stencil.

I stamped images from the new Beach Fun set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Beach Fun Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Sandcastle: E31/33, BG45, RV04, YG01/03
Pink: RV00/02/04/06
Blue: B000 BG53/45
Green: YG01/03
Sunglasses: RV04/06, T3/5
Seashells: B0000/000, RV0000/00, G000 YG01

For the background, I used the new Summer Words Stencil and some Ranger Texture Paste to add some subtle texture and interest to a piece of light blue cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). Once the panel was dry, I trimmed 1/4" off the edges, added a piece of craft foam to the back side before adhering the panel to a white A2 card base. I added a piece of kraft cardstock to the bottom of the panel for the sand.

For the sentiment, I stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Beach Fun set onto a piece of white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and diecut it out with the coordinating die.

I adhered the sentiment and all of the images onto the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

Sending You Sunshine! My second card is a clean and simple one featuring the new Sandcastle Shaker Dies. This cute sandcastle die can be used just as a diecut or to make a fun shaker. I love adding a fun factor to my cards for the recipient. So today, I used this die to make a super fun shaker.

I diecut the solid sandcastle, front door and set of flags once out of white cardstock. I diecut the solid sandcastle out of a piece of clear acetate. Next, I used some tape to attach the window cutout dies to the solid sandcastle die. I used this combo set of dies to diecut 6 sandcastle frames out of white cardstock. I colored the solid sandcastle, front door, flags and one of the sandcastle frames with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Sandcastle: E31/33/35
Teal: BG11/15
Pink: RV10/13
Green: YG01/03

To create the shaker, I layered and adhered all of the white sandcastle frames to each other and then to the top of the solid colored sandcastle with liquid adhesive. I added some Springtime Shaker Beads and adhered the solid acetate sandcastle with liquid adhesive to close off the shaker. Finally, I adhered the colored sandcastle frame, flags and door to the shaker.

For the background, I created a simple one to give all of the attention to the adorable shaker. I diecut a white panel using the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangles Dies. I masked off the bottom section and the eyelet edges before lightly inking with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Sentiment Strips: Summer Stamp Set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered the panel to a piece of pink cardstock  before adhering it to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, I adhered the shaker to the card front.

Make a Splash! Enjoy Your Day! For my last card today, I created another fun shaker with the new Seashell Shaker Dies. I paired this huge seashell up with some additional seashells from the new Stitched Seashell Dies and created a background with the new Layered Seashells Stencils.

I diecut a solid seashell out of a light teal and a piece of clear acetate. Next, I used some tape to attach the window cutout die to the solid seashell die. I used this combo set of dies to diecut 5 seashell frames out of white cardstock and one out of a darker teal cardstock. I knew that I wanted to use some Sparkling Clear Confetti for my shaker bits so I opted to cut off all of the strips from the center of the white seashell frames to allow for one large shaker well for the confetti to slide in.

To create the shaker, I layered and adhered all of the white seashell frames to each other and then to the top of the solid light teal seashell with liquid adhesive. I added some Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix and adhered the solid acetate seashell with liquid adhesive to close off the shaker. Finally, I adhered the darker teal seashell frame to the top of the shaker.

I used the Stitched Seashell Dies to diecut 3 seashells out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock. I colored the seashells with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Seashell 1: R00/11/20/21
Seashell 2: V000/01/04
Seashell 3: RV000/10/21

For the background, I used the new Layered Seashell Stencils ink blended with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to add some subtle color and interest to a piece of light white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). I decided to ground the shells by adding a strip of white cardstock ink blended with Scattered Straw and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks to the bottom edge.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Sentiment Strips: Summer Stamp Set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. The sentiment was then trimmed out with one of the dies from the Sentiment Strips Dies. I also trimmed out a fish tail sentiment strip diecut out of the darker teal cardstock to layer one the sentiment strips onto.

I adhered the shaker, seashells and sentiment strips to the inked panel with a combo of liquid adhesive and foam tape. Finally, the panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
