Hello Crafty Friends! I'm back with several floral cards from the Simon Says Stamp Moments in Time Release. Be sure to check out the entire new Moments in Time Release for more inspirations.
Hugs! My first card features the beautiful Floral Bunches Embossing Folder. I have to confess, this is my first time using a 3D embossing folder. Have you ever tried one? All I have to say is ... WOW! The texture from the embossing is just amazing! I never realized how deep the impression would be. I highly recommend it if you have never tried one. I have paired this embossing with the new Giggly Hugs Die.
I placed a piece of light pink cardstock into the new Floral Bunches Embossing Folder and ran it through my diecutting machine. NOTE: if you have never used a 3D embossing folder, be sure to check your machine for the correct sandwiching or layering of the plates because this is a thicker embossing folder.
I colored the panel with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen to accentuate the embossed design.
I trimmed 1/8" off the edges of the panel before adhering it to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
For the sentiment, I diecut the new Giggly Hugs Die 5 times out of white cardstock. I layered and adhered the diecuts to each other and then to the panel with liquid adhesive. The card was finished with a few Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
Thank You! For my second card, I created a Thank You card showcasing the new Snake Plant Stencils, Swiss Dots Stamp Set and some flowers from the Dainty Floral Vine Die.
I used the set of Snake Plant Stencils along with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks to ink blend onto a piece of white cardstock. Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it down to 4" x 5.25". I adhered it to a piece of black cardstock (4.25" x 5.5").
For the sentiment, I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the new Swiss Dots Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used a paper trimmer to cut it out. The strip was adhered to the panel with foam tape.
For the flowers, I diecut 3 flowers out of pink cardstock using the new Dainty Floral Vine Die. I adhered them to the panel with liquid adhesive and added a center with white Nuvo Drops.
Finally, the panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
Hello Friend! My last card features the new Dainty Floral Vine Die paired with a sentiment from the Swiss Dots Stamp set.
I used the Dainty Floral Vine Die to diecut the vine and several flowers out of white and colored cardstock. I used a Copic marker to add some additional color and dimension to the vine before I adhered it to a white cardstock panel (4" x 5.25"). I adhered the panel to a piece of pink cardstock (4.25" x 5.5").
For the sentiment, I stamped the Hello Friend from the Swiss Dots Stamp set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I layered and adhered the flower diecuts with liquid adhesive. I added a dot of white or yellow Nuvo Drops to the centers. The flowers were adhered to the panel with a combination of liquid and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. Finally, the panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
