Sunny Studio Stamps: You're Fantastic

Hello Crafty Friends! I'm on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a fun "just because" card featuring the Fintastic Friends set. This set is filled with so many adorable underwater images and punny sentiments.

I stamped the images from the Fintastic Friends Stamps and Ocean View Stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Fintastic Friends Dies and Ocean View Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Fish: Y11/13/15, B00/02
Shark: B93/95/97/99, B0000, R20/22
Starfish: Y13/15
Octopus: RV10/21/13/14
Seahorse: V000/01/04/09
Stingray: C00/0/1/3/5/7
Pufferfish: YR02/0407
Rocks: C1/3
Kelp/Corals: YG21/23/25, Y23, RV10/13, V01/04, YR02/04

For the background, I took a piece of white cardstock (4.25" x 5.5") and diecut three windows into it using the second and third smallest dies from the Stitched Circle Large Dies and the third smallest die from the Stitched Circle Small Dies. I stamped some bubbles from the Fintastic Friends Stamp set directly onto the panel with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink. I adhered the panel to a piece of patterned paper (trimmed to 4.25" x 5.5") from the Summer Splash Paper pack.

For the sentiment, I stamped the "You're Fintastic" from the Fintastic Friends Stamps set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used a paper trimmer to cut it out.

I adhered the sentiment and colored images to the front of the card with foam tape for additional dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card and it inspires you to make and send out some happy snail mail. For more info and ideas, be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
