Hello, Crafty Friends! The Pretty Pink Posh August Release Instagram Hop is here and I am so excited to be joining in with the IG Hop fun. More IG Hop info below.
Halloween Greetings! In honor of Pretty Pink Posh's namesake, I have a fun pink Halloween shaker card to share with you today featuring the new Spider Shaker Dies, Spider Web Cover Plate, Halloween Holder Addition Dies, Halloween Greetings and Boo to You Shaker Beads. So let's get started.
I used the Spider Web Cover Plate Dies to diecut the web cover plate and a couple of spiders out of white and black cardstock. I took a piece of light pink cardstock (4.25' x 5.5") and lightly ink blended the edges with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide ink. I adhered the web onto the pink panel with liquid adhesive.
I used the Spider Shaker Dies to diecut 5 spiders with center opening and one solid spider out of black cardstock. I used the dies to also cut one solid spider out of clear acetate and a smile out of white cardstock. I layered and adhered 4 of the 5 spider with center opening to each other to create a shaker well. I adhered the layers to the solid spider. I added some Boo to You Shaker Beads and closed off the shaker well with the clear acetate layer. Finally, I adhered the last spider with the center opening to the top. I used a white gel pen to highlight the diecuts. I adhered some googly eyes to all of the spiders and the white smile to the large shaker spider.
I used the Halloween Holder Addition Dies to diecut a witch's hat out of colored cardstock. I highlighted with a white gel pen and adhered the hat to the large shaker spider.
For the sentiment, I stamped the Spooky Wishes sentiment from the new Halloween Greetings Stamp set onto a piece of vellum with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Halloween Greetings Coordinating Dies to diecut it out.
I adhered the sentiment and spiders to the front of the web panel. Finally I adhered the panel to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
