Pretty Pink Posh August Release Sneak Peek Day 3: Cat Holder & Halloween Holder Addition

Hello, Crafty Friends! There’s a super fun Pretty Pink Posh release on the way. Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of the new Cat Holder, Halloween Holder Addition and Spooky Trees Stencil.

Trick or Treat! I meant to make a spooky card but this adorable cat and those candy corn bearing ghosts were just too cute to spook!

I used the Cat Holder Dies and Halloween Holder Addition Dies to diecut all of the elements out of a combination of white and colored cardstock. I used Copic markers and a white gel pen to color and highlight the diecuts.

I stamped the ghosts from the previously released Ghost Friends Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Ghost Friends Coordinating Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Ghosts: B0000/000, R00/20
Candy Corn: YR04, Y13/15

For the background, I used the new Spooky Trees Stencil and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink to lightly ink blend spooky background onto a piece of light purple cardstock. I used the new Spider Web Cover Plate Die to diecut a frame out of black cardstock. I adhered the frame to the inked panel with liquid adhesive.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the sentiments from the new Halloween Greetings Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used the Halloween Greetings Coordinating Dies to diecut it out.

I adhered the cat, ghosts and sentiment onto the panel with foam tape for dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
