Pretty Pink Posh: Hocus Pocus Potion Shaker Card & Labor Day SALE

Hello, Crafty Friends! Today I am sharing a fun Halloween shaker card featuring the Pretty Pink Posh Potion Bottle Shaker Dies, Halloween Word Scenes, Boo to You Clay Confetti and Spellbound Shaker Beads from the August Release.

I started by creating a spooky background by lightly ink blending the top of a piece of light lavender cardstock with Dusty Concord Distress Oxide ink. Once the panel was dry, I used the largest die from the Stitched Torn Rectangle Dies to trim out the panel. I diecut some bats out of black cardstock using the Halloween Bucket Addition Dies. I added some details onto the bats with a white gel pen before adhering them to the background panel.

I used the Potion Bottle Shaker Dies to diecut the solid bottles out of clear acetate, lavender, and teal cardstock. I secured the coordinating window dies to the solid bottle dies and diecut the top (outline) layer of the bottles with lavender and teal cardstock. I also diecut the stoppers and label from the Potion Bottle Shaker Dies and the oozing and bubbles from the Halloween Holder Addition Dies out of kraft and white cardstock.

For a more realistic look, I added dots to the kraft colored stoppers with a Copic marker (E33) and colored the ooze and bubbles with Copic markers (colors listed below).

To create the lavender shaker bottle, I adhered the top (outline) lavender layer to the top of the acetate layer with liquid adhesive. Then I added a thin strip of foam tape along the backside of the clear layer to create a shaker well. I added some Boo to You Clay Confetti and Spellbound Shaker Beads before closing off the shaker with the solid lavender diecut of the shaker bottle. I layered and adhered the parts to the teal bottle in the same while omitting the clear acetate and shaker bits.

For the sentiment, I stamped one of the fun Halloween Word Scenes stamps onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Halloween Word Scenes Coordinating Dies to diecut it out. I colored the letters and images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen. I stamped the EEK! sentiment from the Halloween Greetings Stamp set onto the white bottle label with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

COPIC COLORS:
Ooze/Bubbles: YG00/01/03/25
Cauldron: T1/3/5/7
Cat:T1/3/5/7, R20
HOCUS POCUS:  V000/01/12/15/17

I finished decorating the bottles and adhered them to background panel. I added the Hocus Pocus sentiment with foam tape. The panel was adhered to a piece of black cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
