Sunny Studio Stamps: Happy Halloween

Hello Crafty Friends! I'm on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a clean and simple Halloween card featuring the adorable Too Cute To Spook set. This set was so appropriately named ... these critters are just way too cute to spook! I kept the card design super clean and simple to give all of the attention to these adorable trick or treaters.

I stamped the images from the Too Cute to Spook Stamps set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Too Cute to Spook Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Bears: E50/51/53/33/35, R00/20, E35
Cat/Bunny: E50/51/53/33, R00/20, E35
Bat: T1/3/5/7, R20
Purple: V01/04/06
Black: T3/5/7
Gold: Y06
Red: R22/05/29
White: C00/0/1/3
Blue: B21/24/26
Pumpkins: Y17/38 YR04, T5

For the background, I took another piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock and stamped the house and tree images from the stamp set with Shaded Lilac DIstress Oxide ink to create a subtle scene. The Happy Halloween sentiment from the set was stamped onto the bottom of the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies to diecut the panel. I adhered it to a piece of purple cardstock (4" x 5.25") before adhering it to a piece of black cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). Finally, the colored images were adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. For more info and ideas, be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
