Hello Crafty Friends! I'm on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today with a fun winter themed card featuring these adorable seals from the Let's Chill set from the latest release. I love the sweet faces on these cuties.
I stamped the seals and hearts from the Let's Chill Stamps and the trees and igloo from the Winter Scenes Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Let's Chill Dies and Winter Scenes Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers.
COPIC COLORS:
Seals: W00/0/1/3, R20
Igloo: RV000/10/21
Trees: YG03/17
Hearts: RV21/13/14
For the layout, I used the Dotted Diamond Landscape Die to diecut a piece of pink cardstock (4" x 5.25"). The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
Next, I used the Scalloped Tag Square Dies to diecut a tag out of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I masked off the scalloped edges and lightly ink blended the top portion of the tag with Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide inks.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "let's chill" sentiment from the set directly onto the tag with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
The colored images were adhered to the tag with a combination of liquid adhesive and foam tape. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the tag before it was adhered to the pink panel. I finished the card with a pink ribbon bow and some white snowflakes diecut with the die from the Woolen Mitten Dies.
