Hello, Crafty Friends! I am so excited to be Guest Designing for Alex Syberia Designs to showcase some exciting new products from the Christmas Release. I am thrilled to also be a part of the Alex Syberia Designs Release BLOG HOP & GIVEAWAY (details below) to celebrate this amazing release that is now available for shopping. Please visit the Alex Syberia Designs Shop for more info and inspirations.
I had so much fun playing with this release! Today, I have two cards to share with you. So let's get started.
Merry Christmas! My first card features the new super fun Merry Mail set and the beautiful Merry Christmas Die set.
I stamped the images from the Merry Mail Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Merry Mail Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Red: R14/24/29/39
Light Green: YG01/03
Dark Green: YG03/25/17
Blue: B0000/000/00/02/04
Orange: Y38
White: C00/0/1
For the sentiment, I used the Merry Christmas Die to diecut the word and shadow out of white and black cardstock. I adhered them to each other.
For the back panel, I used the largest die from the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die set to diecut a piece of pink cardstock.
I adhered the sentiment and the colored images with foam tape. Finally, I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5") and finished the card with a few sparkling clear confetti sequins.
My second card features the super fun new Christmas Postage Stamps. I absolutely adore the Postage Stamps Cover Die and stencil. I was so happy to see a new product for this line.
I used the Postage Stamps Cover Die to diecut a piece of white cardstock. I used the Postage Stamps Stencil, Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks to lightly ink up the center of each of the stamps.
Next I used the Christmas Postage Stamps set to add the fun design to each of the stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and red and green inks. I used a white gel pen to add some snow and highlights.
Finally, I adhered the panel to a piece of red cardstock with foam tape before adhering it to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
