Snow Glad We're Friends! I have a fun winter themed boxcard to share with you today featuring the new Penguin Friends, Winter Trees and Let It Snow sets. I am just in Penguin Heaven with all of the adorable penguins in this release! So let's get started.
I used the Scallop Box Card Dies to diecut the boxcard, 2 shelves and the scalloped panels out of white and light blue cardstock. I assembled the box, shelves and side scalloped panels with liquid glue.
The Winter Trees Dies was used to diecut 3 small trees out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers and added snow with a white gel pen.
I stamped the images from the Penguin Friends Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Penguin Friends Coordinating Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Penguins: T4/5/7, W00/0/1, Y38 YR04, R20
Teal: BG10/53/45
Green: YG01/03/25
Pink: RV10/21/13/14
White: C1/3
Trees: YG01/03/25/17, E25
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Snow" from the new Let It Snow Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of teal cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used Let It Snow Coordinating Dies to diecut it out. For the subsentiment, I stamped the "Glad We're Friends" sentiment from the Let It Snow Stamp set directly onto the scalloped front panel of the boxcard with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered the "Snow" to the panel and then the panel to the boxcard with liquid glue.
I decorated the boxcard as shown in the pictures. The boxcard was finished with a couple of teal snowflakes diecut with the Christmas Holder Additions Dies.
