Hello, Crafty Friends! I have a fun winter themed card to share with you today featuring this adorable Peppermint Latte Penguin Mug. I love the array of accessories available to decorate these super cute Penguin Mug Dies.
I used the new Penguin Mug Dies to diecut all of the elements out of black, white, pink and orange cardstock. I also used the Christmas Holder Additions Dies to diecut a candy cane out of white cardstock. I added a bit of Copic coloring as well as dots and highlights with a white gel pen. I assembled them as seen in the pictures with liquid glue.
COPIC COLORS:
Whipped cream: E81/41 W3
Candy Cane: R24/29, C00/1/3
I used the Argyle Pierced Plate Die to add texture to a piece of pink cardstock (4.25" x 5.5"). I used the largest die from the new Notched Rectangles Dies to diecut a rectangle out of white cardstock. I adhered the rectangle to the pink panel with liquid glue. I adhered the penguin mug to the rectangle with foam tape.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Winter Greetings" sentiment from the new Let It Snow Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of pink cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used Let It Snow Coordinating Dies to diecut it out. I adhered the sentiment to the panel with foam tape.
The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few white and pink snowflakes diecut using the Christmas Holder Additions Dies and a few bits from the Holiday Gingerbread Clay Confetti.
