Hello Crafty Friends! The Simon Says Stamp And Everything Nice Release is here! 🎉 This is such an amazing release. Be sure to check out the entire new And Everything Nice Release for more inspirations.
I had so much fun playing with this Release and have created several cards to share with you today. So let's get started.
Have a Nutcracker Christmas! For my first card, I have a sweet Christmas card to share with you showcasing the adorable ballerina from the new Nutcracker Christmas set. The set is beautifully illustrated by Alberto Gava @loshakeratoalberto.
I stamped the ballerina image from the Nutcracker Christmas Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen. I fussy cut the image out.
COPIC COLORS:
Skin: E000/00/21/11/93
Hair: E50/51/53/33/35/37
Pink: RV000/10/21/13/14/29
Nutcracker: E00, E33, R14/24/29, Y06, B21/24/26, T3/5/7
Gold label: Y000/11/13/15/26 YR23
For the layout, I diecut a glass dome out of Bristol Smooth cardstock using the sixth smallest die from the Mama Elephant B2B Arches Dies. I lightly ink blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
For the stand, I trimmed a piece of red cardstock and lightly shaded the sides with a Copic marker. I stamped the "Have a Nutcracker Christmas" from the Nutcracker Christmas Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Copic markers and adhered it to the red stand with foam tape.
The glass dome part was adhered to a white panel diecut using the largest die from the Alex Syberia Designs Good Day Quilted Rectangles Dies. The red stand and ballerina were adhered to the panel with foam tape. Finally, the panel was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").
Peace Hope Love! For my second card, I have a clean Christmas card to share with you showcasing the new Brilliant Cardinal and the Starbright Embossing Folder and Cutting Die.
I ran the Starbright Embossing Folder and a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock (4" x 5.25") through my diecutting machine. This resulted in a beautiful deep impression. I adhered a piece of craft foam to the backside of the panel and adhered it to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
I used the Brilliant Cardinal Die and the Charming Berry Branch Die to diecut the bird and branch out of red, green, yellow, kraft and black cardstock. I assembled the bird and adhered it as well as the branch to the front panel with liquid glue. I adhered some Pink and Main Christmas Red Confetti to create some shiny berries.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Peace Hope Love" sentiment from the new Retro Wreath Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I trimmed it out with a paper trimmer. I adhered the sentiment to the panel with foam tape.
Peace! My third card features the amazing Angel Wings Stencil and Angel Wings Dies.
I used the 3 layers of stencils from the Angel Wings Stencil to ink blend with Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Tea Dye Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock. Once the panel was dry, I used the Angel Wings Die to diecut it out. I used a gold gel pen to add a little gold accent to the tip of the wings. The wing was adhered to a piece of white cardstock with foam tape.
The Angel Wings Dies includes a beautiful set of three word and shadow dies. It's a gorgeous delicate font. I diecut the word "Peace" out of white and gold cardstock. I layered and adhered the words to each other and then onto the white panel with liquid glue.
I kept the card clean and simple and adhered the panel to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
My last card features the fun new Retro Wreath Stamp and Retro Wreath Stencil sets.
I stamped the image from the Retro Wreath Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock (4" x 5.25") with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the four layers of the Retro Wreath Stencil set to "colored" it with Shabby Shutter and Mowed Lawn Disress Oxide inks.
I stamped the bow image from the Retro Wreath Stamp set onto a piece of red cardsctok. I used Copic markers to add a little depth and dimension. I highlighted it with a white gel pen. I fussy cut the image out.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Merry Christmas" from the Retro Wreath Stamp set directly onto the colored panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The panel was adhered to a piece of red cardstock before adhering it to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
I finished the card by adhering the bow with foam tape for a bit of dimension and some Pink and Main Christmas Red Confetti to create some shiny berries.
