Hello, Crafty Friends! I'm so excited to share that there’s a super fun Pretty Pink Posh release on the way. Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of the new Ladybug Shaker Dies. Talk about cuteness overload! There are several super cute new ladybug themed products on the way. I couldn't wait to play with this Ladybug Shaker Dies. I love that it came with circles as well as hearts to use as spots on the wings. I paired this cutie up with several new products: Layered Ladybugs Stencils, Lovely Ladybugs Stamp & Dies and Pinking Rectangles Dies.
I used the Ladybug Shaker Dies to diecut the parts out of black cardstock. I diecut an extra ladybug out of red cardstock and did a little surgery in order to give this little lady completely red wings. The parts were assembled and adhered with liquid glue. I highlighted with a white gel pen.
For the background, I used the largest die from the new Pinking Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of white cardstock. I masked the edges and lightly inked the background with the Layered Ladybugs Stencils, Candied Apple and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I trimmed a layer of vellum to overlay on the stenciled part to soften the background.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Bugs & Kisses" sentiment from the new Lovely Ladybugs Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of red cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used Let It Lovely Ladybugs Dies to diecut it out.
I adhered the ladybug and the sentiment to the panel with foam tape.The panel was adhered to a piece of red cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
