Hello, Crafty Friends! Merriest Christmas Wishes! I have a quick last Christmas card to share with you featuring the Pretty Pink Posh Penguin Friends and Igloo Shaker Dies sets. I am just in Penguin Heaven with all of the adorable penguins in this release!
I stamped the images from the Penguin Friends Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Penguin Friends Coordinating Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Penguins: T4/5/7, W00/0/1, Y38 YR04, R20
Green: YG01/03/25
Red R14/24/29
White: C00/1/3
Blue: B000
I used the Igloo Shaker Dies to diecut the solid igloo 3 times out of white cardstock. I used the die cut cut out the openings to diecut 2 of the igloos. I layered and adhered the igloos with liquid adhesive. I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins to the windows for a bit of sparkle.
For the background, I lightly ink blended some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink onto the top portion of a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. I trimmed off a small edge all around the panel. I stamped the "Merriest Christmas Wishes" sentiment from the Sentiment Strips Christmas Stamps directly onto the bottom of the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I adhered the panel to a piece of red cardstock before adding it to a white A2 card base (4.25"x 5.5").
The igloo and colored images were adhered to the panel with a combo of liquid adhesive and foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest.
