Winter Greetings! I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring the new Owlsome Christmas stamp. Despite the name of the stamp, this image can easily be used for more than just a Christmas card.
I stamped the Owlsome Christmas image onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image with Copic markers and accented with gel pens. I fussy cut the image out.
COPIC COLORS:
Owls: E50/40/41/42/43/44/47, W3/5, R000/30
Green: G20 YG61 G43/94/46
Blue: B91/93/95/97
Red: R14/24/29
White: C1/3
For the background, I used medium sized die from the Stitched Semi-circle Dies to diecut a panel out of blue cardstock. I lightly ink blended the edges with some Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink to create a subtle background. I used a white gel pen to add some snow to the panel. I adhered the panel to a piece of white cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Winter Greetings" sentiment from the Holiday Time Sentiment Set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used Large Sentiment Strip Dies to diecut it out.
I adhered the colored image and the sentiment banner to the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few snowflakes diecut from the Christmas Holder Additions Dies.
