Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 1 of the Pretty Pink Posh February Release Sneak Peek. This is a super fun release filled with spring and Easter products. Today I’m sharing a springtime card featuring the new I’m sharing a springtime card featuring the new Chick Holder Dies, Springtime Holder Addition Dies and Raindrops Stencil.
I used the Chick Holder Dies and Springtime Holder Addition Dies to diecut the elements out of white and colored cardstock. I added a little yellow ink blending to the edge of the chick to give it some dimension. I assembled all of the elements and highlighted with a white gel pen.
For the background, I used the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of white cardstock. The scalloped edges were masked off with some low tack tape. I used the Raindrops Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to create a rainy background. I added some highlights to the raindrops with a white gel pen.
A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of yellow cardstock. I adhered all of the elements to the panel with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape.
For the sentiment, I diecut the "Hello" from the Springtime Holder Addition Dies twice out of teal cardstock. I layered and adhered them to each other and then to the panel.
The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
