Pretty Pink Posh January Release Sneak Peek Day 2: XOXO Word Shaker & Pinking Rectangles

Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh January Release Sneak Peek. Today I’m sharing a sweet Valentine's Day shaker card featuring the new XOXO Word Shaker Dies and Pinking Rectangles Dies. I paired these fun dies up with several new products: Valentine Banner Greetings Stamp, Banner Greetings 2 Dies and Sweet XOXO Clay Confetti Mix.

I used the XOXO Word Shaker Dies to diecut the solid XOXO Word out of white cardstock and a piece of clear acetate. Next, I used some tape to adhere the two center hearts (to cut out the windows into the hearts of the XOXO word) to the XOXO Word Die. I used the dies taped together to diecut the word once out of red and 5 times out of white cardstock. I layered and adhered the white words with the heart windows together with liquid glue. I lightly ink blended some Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink onto the hearts of the white solid XOXO diecut.

Once the ink was dry, I adhered the solid XOXO to the stacked white XOXO with the heart windows to create the shaker wells. I added some Sweet XOXO Clay Confetti Mix into the heart shaped shaker wells. I adhered the clear acetate layer of the word to close off the shaker wells. Finally, I adhered the red XOXO diecut on top of the stack. highlighted with a white gel pen.

For the background, I used the largest die from the new Pinking Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of white cardstock. I adhered the XOXO shaker to the white panel.

I stamped the images from the Valentine Ghost Friends Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Valentine Ghost Friends Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Ghosts: B0000/000, R000/20
Red: R14/24/29

For the sentiment, I stamped the "Be My Valentine" sentiment from the new Valentine Banner Greetings Stamp onto a piece of white cardstock with Versafine Red Satin ink. I used one of the dies from the new Banner Greetings 2 Dies to diecut out the sentiment.

I adhered the ghosts and the sentiment to the panel with liquid glue and foam tape. The panel was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
