Simon Says Stamp: Heart to Heart Release

Hello Crafty Friends! The Simon Says Stamp Heart to Heart Release is here! 🎉 This is such an amazing release. Be sure to check out the entire new Heart to Heart Release for more inspirations.

I had so much fun playing with this Release and have created several cards to share with you today. So let's get started.

You're the Cat's Meow, Valentine! For my first card, I have a sweet Valentine's Day card to share with you showcasing the adorable kitty from the new Sassy Sally set paired with the gorgeous heart stamp from the new beautiful Heart Suite set.

I stamped the cat image from the Sassy Sally Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored it with Copic markers and highlighted them with a white gel pen. I fussy cut the image out.

COPIC COLORS:
Cat: YR30/31/21/24/27, R000/20
Flowers: E41/42/43/44, RV10/21/13/14, YG01/03

For the background, I stamped the heart image from the Heart Suite Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock (4" x 5.25") with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink.

Next, I stamped the "You're the Cat's Meow, Valentine" sentiment from the Sassy Sally Stamp set directly onto the white panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I adhered the cat onto the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 card base. The card was finished with a few Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix

Thanks for being you Friend! For my second card, I have a clean and simple Thank You card to share with you showcasing the new Hearts Aplenty Dies and a sentiment from the new Heart Suite Stamp set.

I used the Hearts Aplenty Dies to diecut the heart out of teal cardstock twice. I layered and adhered the hearts together with liquid glue.

I used the largest Eyelet Rectangles Dies to diecut a panel out of white cardstock. I stamped the "Thanks for being you Friend" sentiment from the new Heart Suite Stamp set directly onto the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink.

The teal heart was adhered to the white panel. The panel was then adhered to a piece of teal cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

You're a Cool Cat! My third card is a fun postage stamp style card featuring the super cute images from the new Sassy Sally set.

I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Cover Die to diecut a panel out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Stencil to mask off the edges. I stamped images from the Sassy Sally Stamp set with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen. I stamped the "50 cents" stamp value and the cancellation stamps from the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Stamp set onto the stamps  for a more realistic look.

COPIC COLORS:
Cats: W00/0/1/3, R000/00/20
Box of chocolates: R14/24/29/39, E33/35
Flowers: E41/42/43, R14/24/29, YG01/03
Shadows: T0/1/3
Pink background: RV000/10
Blue background: B0000/000/00

For the sentiment, I stamped "You're a Cool Cat" sentiment from the Sassy Sally set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used the Large Sentiment Strip Dies to diecut the sentiment out. The sentiment strip was adhered to the panel with foam tape.

The panel was adhered to a piece of red cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

Happy Valentine's Day! My fourth card is a postage stamp style Valentine's Day card featuring images from the Heart Suite Stamp set.

I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Cover Die to diecut a panel out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. I used the Alex Syberia Designs Postage Stamps Stencil to mask off the edges. I lightly ink blended with some Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink. I stamped images and sentiments from the new Heart Suite Stamp set with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink. I highlighted with a white gel pen. I stamped the "14 cents" stamp value from the Waffle Flower Postage Collage: Love Stamp set onto the stamps with Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

For the sentiment, I stamped "Happy Valentine's Day" sentiment from the Heart Suite Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I trimmed it out with a paper trimmer. The sentiment strip was adhered to the panel with foam tape.

The panel was adhered to a piece of black cardstock before it was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

My fourth card is a Thank You card featuring the beautiful new Cedar Sprigs Embossing Folder that I paired up with the Thank You Die.

I ran the Cedar Sprigs Embossing Folder and a piece of pink cardstock  (4" x 5.25") through my diecutting machine. This resulted in a beautiful deep impression. I adhered it to a piece of white cardstock before adhering it to a piece of red cardsctock.

For the sentiment, I used the Fancy Wafer Thank You Dies to diecut the Thank You word and the shadow out of white and red cardstock. I adhered the layers together with liquid glue.

I used a piece of red and white twine from my stash to tie a bow around the panels. I adhered the Thank You word with foam tape. Finally, I adhered the panel to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").

For my final card, I have a clean and simple Love card featuring the new Words of Love Stamp set that is just perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day as well as to send some love just about any time of the year.

I stamped the large print image from the Words of Love Stamp set onto a piece of white cardstock with Memento London Fog ink.

For the sentiment, I stamped the "Love You" sentiment from the set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of red  cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I fussy cut out the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the panel with foam tape.

I matted the panel with a piece of red cardstock before adhering it to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few Ruby Slippers Confetti.
