Pretty Pink Posh February Release & GIVEAWAY: Chick Shaker

Hello, Crafty Friends! Have you seen the brand new Pretty Pink Posh release featuring Easter and spring products? This collection is packed full of items ranging from adorable watering cans to flowers, Easter chicks, and more!

Today, I'm featuring the new Chick Shaker Dies, Stitched Clouds Dies, Springtime Holder Additions Dies, Bunny Hop Shaker Beads and a sentiment from the Spring Blooms Stamp set. I am completely in love with this adorable Chick Shaker!

I used the Chick Shaker Dies to diecut the solid chick out of yellow cardstock and clear acetate. I used the solid chick as well as the center cut out die to diecut the chick shaker frame five times out of white cardstock and once out of yellow cardstock. I layered and adhered the white frames to each other and then onto the solid yellow chick to create a shaker well. I filled the well with the new Bunny Hop Shaker Beads before sealing it off with the clear acetate layer. I decorated the shaker with eyes, beak, blush and feet diecut from the set.

For the background, I used the largest die from the Eyelet Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of white cardstock. I lightly ink blended with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks, The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base (4.25" x 5.5").

I stamped the "Spring Has Sprung" sentiment from the Spring Blooms Stamp set directly onto a cloud diecut with the new Stitched Clouds DiesThe Springtime Holder Additions Dies was used to diecut several flowers. The chick, cloud and flowers were adhered to the inked panel.
