Hello Crafty Friends! I’m on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I have a sweet Easter card to share with you featuring the new Spring Garland set. This beautiful set can be used just about any time of the year for birthday and just because cards. Today I have paired these gorgeous blooms with the Big Bunny set for the upcoming Easter season. So let’s get started.
I stamped the images from the Spring Garland Stamp and the bunny from the Big Bunny Stamp sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the coordinating Spring Garland Dies and Big Bunny Dies to diecut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Bunny: C00/0/1/3, R000/00/30
Pink: RV10/21/13/14
Yellow: Y11/13/15/19
Green: YG01/03/25
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Easter” and “Greetings” sentiments from the Big Bunny Stamp set with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink onto a piece of white cardstock used the Big Bunny Dies to diecut them out.
For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Polka-Dot Dies to diecut a panel out of a white cardstock. I masked off the edges and lightly ink blended Saltwater Taffy and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock.
I adhered the colored images and sentiment to the panel with foam tape for dimension and interest. The card front was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5").
