Hello Crafty Friends! Happiest Easter Greetings! I have an Easter card to share with you today featuring the Pretty Pink Posh Decorative Easter Egg Dies, Large Easter Shadow Dies and Mini Checker Stencil.
It’s Easter Theme Week over at Pretty Pink Posh. There are lots of super cute Easter theme products over at the Pretty Pink Posh Shop. Be sure to check them out and take advantage of the 15% discount on all items in our Easter category during this theme week!
I used the Decorative Easter Egg Dies to diecut a solid egg out of pink cardstock and a decorated egg out of white and yellow cardstock. I punched out all of the shapes out of the white egg making sure to save the little white circles for bunny tails. I adhered the white and pink eggs to each other and adhered the bunny tails to the pink bunnies.
For the background, I used the largest die from the new Pinking Rectangles Dies to diecut a piece of white cardsctock. I lightly ink blend a subtle layer of Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. Next, I used the Mini Checker Stencil to lightly ink blend another with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the backside of this panel before it was adhered to a pieced of white cardstock and then a piece of pink cardstock.
For the sentiment, I used the Large Easter Shadow Dies to diecut the Easter twice out of white cardstock and the shadow once out of purple cardstock. I layered and adhered the diecuts to each other. I stamped the “Happiest Easter Greetings” sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Easter Stamp set onto a piece of light blue cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Sentiment Strips Dies to diecut the sentiment out.
I adhered the egg to the inked panel with liquid glue. The sentiments were adhered to the egg with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. I finished the card with a few yellow butterflies from the egg I diecut out of yellow cardstock. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card and are inspired to create and send out some Easter themed cards of your own. Be sure to head on over to the Pretty Pink Posh Shop to check out all of the fun Easter themed products.
Have a wonderful and crafty day!
Hanh
