Hello Crafty Friends! I'm on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today and I am so excited to share my first card from the new Summer Release! Have you seen all of the fun new products?! Such an amazing release! Today I have a sweet baby card to share with you featuring the new Bundle of Joy set. This is just the sweetest baby set with absolutely adorable baby and baby accessory images. So let's get started.
I stamped the images from the Bundle of Joy Stamps and a few bird images from the Little Birdie Stamps sets onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Bundle of Joy Dies and Little Birdie Dies to diecut them out. I colored the images with Copic markers and accented with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Birds: B21/24, Y38, E93
Baby: E000/00/21/11/93
Pink: RV000/10/02
Silver: C1/3
Black: T7
Clothespins: E31
Grass: YG03
For the background, I used the Frilly Frames Hexagon Dies to diecut a panel out of a white cardstock. I masked off the scalloped edges. I used the Slimline Nature Borders Dies to diecut a piece of clear acetate to make my own cloud stencil. I used my homemade cloud stencil, Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks to ink blend a subtle background onto the white panel. I added some dots in the grass with a Copic marker (YG03). A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a piece of pink cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped the “Welcome Baby” sentiment from the Bundle of Joy Stamps set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the baby carriage.
For the clothesline, a piece of white and silver twine from my stash was adhered to the inked panel with liquid glue. I adhered the colored images to the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to an A2 white card base (4.25" x 5.5”). The card was finished with a few Majestic Clear Confetti.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Be sure to visit the Sunny Studio Stamps Shop to check out the new Summer Release and for more info and ideas. Please also visit my INSTAGRAM feed for more inspirations.
