Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 1 of the Pretty Pink Posh May Release Sneak Peek. I am so excited to start sharing some sneak peeks of this new release that's filled with the cutest bugs ever. Today I have a friendship card to share with you featuring these adorable dragonflies from new Stitched Bugs Dies. I paired them up with a few new products: Checkered Pierced Plate Die and Hello Friend Stamp & Dies.
I used the Stitched Bugs Dies and the previously released Stitched Spring Flowers Dies to diecut the dragonflies and flowers out of Neenah Solar White 110 lbs cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Dragonflies: YG01/03/25, G000 BG10/11/32
Flowers: RV000/10/21, Y13/15/19, YG01/03/25
For the background, I used the new Checkered Pierced Plate Die to diecut a panel out of white cardstock. I trimmed the panel down to 4" x 5.25" and adhered it to a piece of light blue cardstock.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Best Friends" from the new Hello Friend Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of white cardstock. Then, I stamped and "Always & Forever" sentiment from the same stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. I used the coordinating Hello Friend Dies and the Sentiment Strip Dies to diecut the sentiments out.
I adhered the dragonflies, flowers and the sentiments to the panel with a combo of liquid glue and foam tape.The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
