Be sure to check out the entire new Always There Release for more inspirations.
I had so much fun playing with this Release and have created two cards to share with you today featuring the new Mr Snappy So let's get started.
You nailed it! Best Dad Ever! For my first card, I have a Dad themed card to share with you showcasing the new Mr. Snappy stamp that is just perfect a Dad's birthday card or for the upcoming Father's Day.
I stamped the images from the Mr. Snappy Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers, highlighted them with a white gel pen and fussy cut them out.
COPIC COLORS:
Alligator: YG00/01/03/25/17/67, R22, W5
Jeans: B91/93/95/97
Belt: E33/35, Y13/15
Hardhat: Y11/13/15/19
Hammer: E33, C1/3
Sawhorse: E31/33, C1
Chef's Hat: C1/3
BBQ: R20/22/24/27/29, C1/3
Steak: R22/24, E30
For the layout, I used the Basic Shapes Circle Dies to diecut two circles out of a piece of white cardstock. I used this as a guide to lightly ink blend a second piece of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. I adhered the two panels together with foam tape.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "You nailed it! Best Dad Ever!" sentiments from the Mr. Snappy Stamp set with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with Detail White Embossing Powder. A die from the Pink & Main Extra Large Sentiment Strip Dies was used to diecut out the sentiment.
The colored images and sentiment were adhered to the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
Happy Birthday! Chomp into some fun today! For my second card, I have a masculine birthday card to share with you showcasing another super cute image from the Mr. Snappy Stamp set.
I stamped, colored and fussy cut the image from the Mr. Snappy Stamp set in the same manner I did for the first card.
COPIC COLORS:
Alligator: YG00/01/03/25/17/67, R22, W5
Jeans: B91/93/95/97
Belt: E33/35, Y13/15
Balloon: R20/22/24/27/29
For the layout, I used the Basic Shapes Squares Dies to diecut a square out of white and black cardstock. For the white square, I lightly ink blended with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks. I adhered the two squares to each other.
Next, I took another piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock (4" x 5.25") and repeatedly stamped images from the Mr. Snappy Stamp set as well as some stars from the Out of This World Stamp set with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I matted this with a piece of black cardstock. I adhered the colored image with foam tape.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from the CZ Design Inside Greetings Birthday Stamp set and the "Chomp into some fun today!" from the Mr. Snappy Stamp set directly onto the stamped panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
The square panels were adhered to the larger rectangular panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5").
