Summer Fun in the Sun! I have a clean and simple, summer-themed card to mark today’s exciting news ... because honestly, being on this design team and having the opportunity to play with all of the amazing new products is like having fun in the sun all year round. My card features the Summer Sips, Happy Hibiscus, Happy Summer, Large Summer Shadow Dies and Scallops Pierced Plate Die.
I stamped the images from the Summer Sips Stamp, Happy Hibiscus Stamp and Happy Summer Stamp sets with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. The coordinating Summer Sips Dies, Happy Hibiscus Dies and Happy Summer Dies to diecut them out. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

For the sentiment, I used the Large Summer Shadow Dies to diecut the word Summer out of teal cardstock and the shadow out of white cartdstock. I assembled the pieces using liquid adhesive. For the sub-sentiment, I used the Simple Strip Dies to diecut a strip of white cardstock. I stamped the "Fun in the Sun" sentiment from the Summer Sips Stamp directly onto the strip with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
For the layout, I used the Scallops Pierced Plate Die to diecut a white panel. I trimmed a little off of the edges before adhering the panel to a piece of teal cardstock.
I adhered the colored images and the sentiment to the panel using foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. The panel was adhered to a white A2 cardbase (4.35" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few sequins from the Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
