Hello, Crafty Friends! It's Day 4 of the Pretty Pink Posh June Release Sneak Peek. Today I have a summer themed card to share with you featuring these new Summer Sips Stamp & Dies set and the new Watercolor Strips Stencils.
I stamped the images from the new Summer Sips Stamp set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lbs cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Summer Sips Dies to diecut them out. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.
COPIC COLORS:
Pink: RV000/10/21/13, RV10/21/13/14
Yellow: Y11/13/15/19
Green: YG00/01/03/25
Blue: B000/00/02
Glasses: B000/00
Straws: YG01/03, RV21, R22/24
Yellow: Y11, Y15
Lemon: YG01, YG03
Strawberry: R20/22/24/29, YG03
For the background, I used the new Watercolor Strips Stencil, Saltwater Taffy, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks to ink blend the strips of colors onto a piece of white cardstock. I used some Copic markers to deepen some of the colors on the bottom edge of the strips. The largest die from the Stitched Torn Rectangles Dies was used to diecut the panel.
For the sentiment, I stamped the "Happy Summer" from the new Summer Sips Stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the panel.
I adhered the colored drinks to the panel with foam tape. A piece of craft foam was adhered to the back of the panel before it was adhered to a a white A2 cardbase (4.25" x 5.5"). I finished the card with a few Sparkling Clear Confetti Mix.
