Gerda Steiner Designs: Happy BOO-Day

Hello Crafty Friends! I have a fun ghost themed birthday card to share with you featuring the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Happy BOO-Day Stamp set from the latest release. Aren’t these ghosts just the cutest?! I can’t decide which one I like the most. I ADORE the one peeking out from behind the wall. But I also love the one with the sweet face holding the balloon since I always love including balloons for birthday cards. Which one is your favorite? This set can be used just about any time of the year but how perfect is it for an October birthday.

I used the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die to diecut a panel out of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock. I stamped the adorable images from Happy BOO-Day Stamp set onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Ghosts: B000/000, C00/0/1, R20
Red: R21/22/14/24
Blue: B000/00/02
Cupcake: E53/33, R22/14/24
Flowers: R20/22, Y13
Background: B0000/000, B00 (dots)

For the sentiments, I stamped the “Have a Fa-BOO-lous” from the new Faboolous Birthday Stamp set directly onto the panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the “birthday” from the Faboolous Birthday Stamp set and the “From all of us” from the Happy BOO-Day with Versamark Watermark ink onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed with White Detail Embossing powder. I fussy cut out the “birthday” and used the Pink & Main Sentiment Strip Small Dies to diecut out the “From all of us”.

I adhered the embossed sentiments to the panel with foam tape for a bit of interest. The panel was matted with a piece of red cardstock before being adhered to a white A2 cardbase (5.5” x 4.25”).

I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and visit today. I hope you liked my card. Be sure to visit the Gerda Steiner Design Shop for more info and ideas.

Have a wonderful and crafty day!
