Sunny Studio Stamps: Alpine Adventures

Hello Crafty Friends! I'm on the Sunny Studio Stamps Blog today and I am sharing a fun Christmas card featuring these adorable bear and penguin friends from the Alpine Adventure set. This amazing stamp and die set includes a huge background scene, a super cute polar bear and several penguins to choose from and some perfectly matched sentiments including this beautiful “Winter Wishes” sentiment with coordinating die. So let’s get started.

I stamped the critter images and the background (twice) from the Alpine Adventure Stamps set onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the coordinating Alpine Adventure Dies to diecut out the critters. I colored them with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen.

COPIC COLORS:
Penguins: T3/4/5/7, W00/0/1, Y38 YR04, R20
Bear: E40/41 W1, T5/7, R20
Red: R22/14/24/29
White: C00/1/3
Brown skates: E33/99/35
Trees: YG25/17, E25
Sky/Ice: BG0000/000, C1 (shadow)
Mountains/Snow: BG0000/000 BV20/23

For the layout, I used the largest die from the Stitched Circle Small Dies to diecut the colored background image. I used the largest die from the Stitched Circle Large Dies to diecut a circle out of red cardstock. I adhered the two circles to each other. I added craft foam to the back of the circle panel before adhering it to the uncolored panel that I trimmed down to a 5.25” square. I matted with a piece of red cardstock.

For the sentiment, I stamped the beautiful “Winter” and "Wishes” from the same stamp set with Versafine Red Satin ink onto a piece of white cardstock. I used the coordinating die to diecut them out.

I adhered the colored images and sentiment to the panel with foam tape for a bit of dimension and interest. Finally, I adhered the panel to a white square cardbase (5.5”).
